This is a short scale 7 string from Sergei de Jonge.
Engelman Spruce top and back and sides made of Yew
Sergei has been building since 1969 in Toronto with Jean Larrivee and moved on to work out of his own shop in the early 1970’s.
This is a very clean guitar, has some wear on the top, other than that it is essentially new considering its age.
French polish finish, 22.4″ scale length, 2.4″ nut width.
Yew was a wood popular with Lute builders during the Medieval/Renaissance time period.
